Hi, you had a good idea - use merge template if article's content needs to be in another article. Redirects are used ONLY when all the content, all the info was copied into the other article (in this case Glam Metal). Only then you delete all the content and replace it with just this code: #redirect]. Let me know if you have any questions; I know how confusing all the rules might sound at first...
