Elizabeth Bathory was a Transylvanian countess and serial killer who may have inspired the legend of Dracula. She was born in 1560-61 and died on August 21, 1614.

Believing she could thus improve her complexion, she slaughtered 650 women in her castle...

Elizabeth was damned to a tiny closet of her castle and died four years later.
