- Ma'on (Basor): An ancient town in the Negev, southeast of modern Khan Yunis.
- Ma'on (Judea): An ancient town in Judea, now in ruins as teff Ma'in, located 17 kilometres south-south-east of Hebron, and 3.5 km south from ruins known as el-Kurmul. The town is mentioned in the Biblical narrative of Nabal, and is situated just west of a steppe, which is somewhat of a wilderness.
- Ma'on, Har Hebron: The modern Israeli settlement and village in the Judean Mountains of the southern West Bank, near the ancient one whose name it carries.
