You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for For breaching guidelines on wikipedia's policy of conflict of interest breaching WP:OUTING. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Cailil 12:12, 26 July 2011 (UTC)

This user is asking that their block be reviewed:

DegenFarang (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

I see now that what I did violates the rules and I apologize as I was not aware accusing somebody of editing their own article was not allowed.

Notes:

  • In some cases, you may not in fact be blocked, or your block has already expired. Please check the list of active blocks. If no block is listed, then you have been autoblocked by the automated anti-vandalism systems. Please remove this request and follow these instructions instead for quick attention by an administrator.
  • Please read our guide to appealing blocks to make sure that your unblock request will help your case. You may change your request at any time.
Administrator use only:

If you ask the blocking administrator to comment on this request, replace this template with the following, replacing "blocking administrator" with the name of the blocking admin:

{{Unblock on hold |1=blocking administrator |2=I see now that what I did violates the rules and I apologize as I was not aware accusing somebody of editing their own article was not allowed. |3 = ~~~~}}

If you decline the unblock request, replace this template with the following code, substituting {{subst:Decline reason here}} with a specific rationale. Leaving the decline reason unchanged will result in display of a default reason, explaining why the request was declined.

{{unblock reviewed |1=I see now that what I did violates the rules and I apologize as I was not aware accusing somebody of editing their own article was not allowed. |decline = {{subst:Decline reason here}} ~~~~}}

If you accept the unblock request, replace this template with the following, substituting Accept reason here with your rationale:

{{unblock reviewed |1=I see now that what I did violates the rules and I apologize as I was not aware accusing somebody of editing their own article was not allowed. |accept = accept reason here ~~~~}}

,

It's not "permanent", it's indefinite. You'll need to convice someone that the block is no longer needed to prevent further problems. Your statement above, along with the "IAR" paragraph at the top of the page, do little to convince. (Note: statement above was altered by DegenFarang after this comment). Alright I removed the IAR section. I see now that I broke a rule in saying what I said. I was not aware at the time this was a rule. I apologize for doing it and will not do it again. I request that the block be removed. DegenFarang (talk) 16:26, 26 July 2011 (UTC)

question

User:DegenFarang back in January 2010 I warned you for disruptive editing in relation to Poker BLPs as did Vassyana. This instance (on the 26th of July) shows a repeat and escalation of that behaviour. If we are to unblock you, how will you adjust your behaviour on wikipedia to come into line with with all of our core policies and guidelines for content & behaviour?--Cailil 16:39, 27 July 2011 (UTC)
