WSWG "upn44" is the UPN-TV Network Affiliate Station in Valdosta, Georgia and the Transmitter Located at 10 Miles from Valdosta, Georgia.
History
WSWG began on March 10, 1980 as WVGA-TV: The ABC-TV Network airs Daytime & Nighttime Programs and Local Programs & News. In 1984 WVGA-TV lost the News for the rest of 7 years. In 1991 WVGA-TV ABC 44 is joined forces to WTXL-TV Channel 27 to became the satellite station after the Plane Crash on the Transmitter Site has been destroyed and signed off and keep on airing on ABC 27. In 1995 WVGA-TV re-sign on and became WVAG-TV UPN 44 after the disbandment from WTXL-TV ABC 27 in Tallahassee, Florida and 10 years later in 2005 WVAG-TV became WSWG.
On January 24, 2006 The WB & UPN will be both Perished to make The New Network The CW for that report...WFXU will be The New Affiliate of The New Network on September 5, 2006 and that same date WSWG 44 will be The New Affiliate of My Network TV Network as "MY 44."
