Welcome

Welcome!

Hello, The Dart, and welcome to Misplaced Pages! Thank you for your contributions, especially what you did for Daring class destroyer (1949). I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Misplaced Pages:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome!

As an aside, I added the information you've updated to the text of the article itself (first para of the "Design" section. Is there any chance you could swing by, check to make sure I've used the right edition of Jane's Fighting Ships (maybe you're checking 1953-54 instead of 1954-55) as the cited source, and provide the page number the information came from? Muchly appreciated :) -- saberwyn 09:41, 31 August 2011 (UTC)

Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Vegemite. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. AussieLegend (talk) 10:54, 15 July 2012 (UTC)

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Vegemite. This contravenes Misplaced Pages's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Misplaced Pages. Misplaced Pages:Verifiability requires that everything added to Misplaced Pages must be attributable to reliable sources. Your additions are not sourced and constitute original research, which is not permitted. AussieLegend (talk) 17:48, 15 July 2012 (UTC)

Please note, statements such as "Source: Vegemite Official website (Kraft Foods)" in edit summaries is not appropriate sourcing. I suggest you read Misplaced Pages:Citing sources for more information. --AussieLegend (talk) 18:30, 15 July 2012 (UTC)

Formatting

Please try to remember that indenting doesn't work in Wiki. Doing so merely offsets your reply in a special box that lacks any line breaks so it runs off the side of the page. Prefacing your comment with the appropriate number of colons ":" will automatically indent for you. You can catch any such problems if you remember to preview your post before saving it.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 18:31, 29 September 2012 (UTC)

Please do not attack other editors, as you did to Talk:Vegemite. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. AussieLegend () 17:53, 5 November 2012 (UTC)
