Dave Douglas is the drummer for the Christian rock band Relient K. This page is titled "David A. Douglas" because there are already pages for a David Douglas and a Dave Douglas. Dave joined the band after their former drummer, Stephen Cushman, departed in late 2000. Dave has been playing the drums and doing background vocals for the band for five and a half years. He has a unique drumming style, and "gets into" his drumming more than the average drummer. He also sings many solos, which is hard for a drummer to do, given the fact that you are sitting down and that the cymbols drown out your voice if you aren't close enough to the microphone. Dave is from Canton, Ohio, and currently lives in Cleveland with his wife, Rachel.
