The Blackest Beautiful is the second studio album by American post-hardcore band Letlive. The album was released through Epitaph Records on July 9, 2013. The album was released to positive reviews from critics, generating an aggregated score of 80/100 on Metacritic.

This Is Fake DIY

Fake History received generally positive reviews from music critics. At Metacritic, which assigns a normalized rating out of 100 to reviews from mainstream critics, the album received an average score of 80/100, based on 5 reviews, which indicates "generally favorable reviews". Absolute Punk gave the album 9.5/10, describing the album as a "masterpiece" that will "redefine your musical preconceptions and tastes for the better." NME gave the album 8/10, describing the album as a "strong, focused record from beginning to end." Allmusic gave the album 4 stars, describing the album as "more ambitious, interesting, thoughtful, and boundary-pushing than any of Letlive's previous work" and a "compelling document of anger, loss, and struggle." The Guardian gave the album three stars and was largely positive about the album, saying that "This fourth full-length release should take them to a wider audience." This Is Fake DIY was also very positive about the album, saying that the album is "the first time letlive. have really put their stamp on a record."
