Tom Six is a Dutch filmmaker known for his body horror films, The Human Centipede (First Sequence), The Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence) and The Human Centipede 3 (Final Sequence) .
Personal
Tom Six was born in Alkmaar, Noord-Holland, in the Netherlands on August 29, 1973(citation needed). Six was heavily influenced by a number of films released during his upbringing, such as Pier Paolo Pasolini's 1975 film Salò, or the 120 Days of Sodom. Six has stated that Salò is the sickest film he has ever seen.
Career
Tom Six's fame is unarguably his involvement in the The Human Centipede franchise. Although met with only negative reviews and reactions, The Human Centipede garnered some attention. The first film's "success" gave Six the flexibility he needed to work on a sequel, The Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence).
Six is currently working on The Human Centipede 3 (Final Sequence). His idea was that the three films can be connected so it will make one long film. Part 2 begins where part 1 ended, and part 3 will begin where part 2 ended, therefore the three films together will make a centipede. Part 3 will go back to the original idea of Tom Six's Human Centipede concept, which is to use this method as an ideal punishment for criminals.
Tom Six is currently working on his next project: "The Onania Club".
