Main Page appearance: Angelina Jolie
This is a note to let the main editors of Angelina Jolie know that the article will be appearing as today's featured article on June 19, 2013. If this article needs any attention or maintenance, it would be preferable if that could be done before its appearance on the Main Page. If you prefer that the article appear as TFA on a different date, or not at all, please ask featured article director Raul654 (talk · contribs) or one of his delegates (Dabomb87 (talk · contribs), Gimmetoo (talk · contribs), and Bencherlite (talk · contribs)), or start a discussion at Misplaced Pages talk:Today's featured article/requests. You can view the TFA blurb at Misplaced Pages:Today's featured article/June 19, 2013. If it needs tweaking, or if it needs rewording to match improvements to the article between now and its main page appearance, please edit it, following the instructions at Misplaced Pages:Today's featured article/requests/instructions. The blurb as it stands now is below:
Angelina Jolie (born 1975) is an American actress, film director, and screenwriter. She has received an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress (for her performance in the 1999 drama Girl, Interrupted), two Screen Actors Guild Awards, and three Golden Globe Awards, and was named Hollywood's highest-paid actress by Forbes in 2009 and 2011. Jolie promotes humanitarian causes as a Special Envoy and former Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. She has often been cited as the world's "most beautiful" woman. Jolie made her screen debut as a child alongside her father Jon Voight in Lookin' to Get Out (1982). Her first leading role in a major film was in the cyber-thriller Hackers (1995). She achieved wide fame after her portrayal of video game heroine Lara Croft in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001), and received critical acclaim for her performances in the dramas A Mighty Heart (2007) and Changeling (2008). She made her directorial debut with the wartime drama In the Land of Blood and Honey (2011). Divorced from actors Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton, Jolie now lives with actor Brad Pitt, in a relationship notable for fervent media attention. (Full article...)

Cary Grant
A few years ago you participated in a discussion at Talk:Cary Grant about his citizenship. A recent RFC has begun on Cary Grants citizenship reference in the lead paragraph. Please feel free to add a comment at Talk:Cary Grant#RfC: Should the ambiguous hyphenated term, English-American, be used to describe the subject?.--JOJ 22:40, 23 June 2013 (UTC)
- Jojhutton. You may not have noticed but Wildhartlivie retired almost three years ago. Thus, you should not expect a reply. MarnetteD | Talk 22:46, 23 June 2013 (UTC)
- I did realize that but I'm being thorough so as to not be accused of canvassing.--JOJ 22:53, 23 June 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks for letting me know. That makes sense. You might want to leave a link at the Misplaced Pages talk:WikiProject Actors and Filmmakers but it isn't required. CheersMarnetteD | Talk 23:07, 23 June 2013 (UTC)

BACKLOG OF THE WEEK Category:Pages with broken reference names
Hello - some editors fight off the vandal hordes, as I do repairing pages with citation errors. If I didn't - there would be a large backlog in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting and in Category:Pages with missing references list as in Category:Pages with broken reference names (more than 1500 yesterday). But it is impossible to work it alone. Do you know how to do a "Blitz" (excuse the comparision) to find willing editors to work on it. It is much more easier to repair references if you do it one hour, one day or one week ago after the errors were made instead of months and years after the error was done. Very, very difficult to find these errors.
Only with WikiBlame Search it is possible to find and repair such errors.
Best wishes & thanks --Frze 09:09, 10 October 2013 (UTC)

New REFBot
There is a suggestion on Misplaced Pages:Bot requests for a new REFBot working as DPL bot and BracketBot do. I beg politely for consideration. Please leave a comment if you wish. Thanks a lot in anticipation. --Frze 03:56, 22 October 2013 (UTC)
