Disambiguation link notification for August 15

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Misplaced Pages appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Andriy Slyusarchuk, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Express (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Your expert help needed with Kyiv

Hi. I finally pushed that article's lead to reflect modern economic and political issues... which are highly controversial for some northerly-oriented;) users. I anticipate disputes over even most neutral overview sentences on that topic. Your input, as an unrivaled expert on Ukraine politics, will be precious in shaping and maintaining a neutral lead section. I'm more of an economy guy, you know)

Same goes for a full-size Politics section/main article/future category. Oh, and for similar parts of the Donbas, Odesa and so on. Thankful for your help in advance, Ukrained2012 (talk) 22:12, 18 August 2013 (UTC)

Thanks for your faith in me. But I must warn you that although I am still interested in (Ukrainian) politics; I am not so interested in Misplaced Pages as I used to be... So beware I might be absent here for months... — Yulia Romero • Talk to me! 19:09, 19 August 2013 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (File:FEMEN logo.jpg)

Thanks for uploading File:FEMEN logo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Misplaced Pages under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Misplaced Pages. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Misplaced Pages (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Werieth (talk) 15:00, 22 August 2013 (UTC)

Poss sockpuppetry

Hi

I have just warned Shervinsky about possible sockpuppetry for these:

  • 12:33, 17 September 2013 Shervinsky (talk | contribs). . (73,848 bytes) (-118). . (misinterpreted photo of a drunk man) (undo | thank)
  • 02:22, 20 October 2013 68.232.180.2 (talk) . . (73,955 bytes) (-117). . (deleted photo of a drunk man claimed to be starving) (undo)

I am not around much these days due to RL issues, but do come on at least once a week (sometimes more when I can) so would appreciate you keeping an eye on them. He has lots of contributions as well, so they may need looking at as the summaries look a little POV pushing.

Hope you are well :¬) Chaosdruid (talk) 22:31, 17 November 2013 (UTC)

Please remove

Please remove that "Jews are a religion, not an ethnicity or nationality" crap from your user page. Jews have enough problems without anti-Semites like you denying us our identity. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Buyerlilts (talkcontribs) 07:33, 21 November 2013 (UTC)

I do believe in Israeli as an ethnicity and I was never anti-Semite. Please do not draw conclusions about people you never met. There is a catholic identity so off course there is a Jewish identity. But I do believe that not all Jews are Israeli. Besides I spent a lot of time on improving History of the Jews in Ukraine (see here); that is not something an anti-Semite would do is it? — Yulia Romero • Talk to me! 18:37, 21 November 2013 (UTC)

I changed the wording in the infobox to something that express my feelings better. Sorry if my previous clumsy wording insulted/hurt anybody. Please believe me that it was not intended so; I just did not express my opinion in the right words (at the time a.k.a I was clumsy then). But in future please do not automatically assume that people are anti-Semite on the basis of a few words they wrote on Misplaced Pages. — Yulia Romero • Talk to me! 18:56, 21 November 2013 (UTC)

2013 Ukraine pro-European Union protests

Hi, I just want to ask you something. I just saw that in some Ukrainian media the protests are also dubbed " Єврореволюція". (I do not know Ukrainian but I can read something. I have some difficulties reading Ukrainian but at least it is Slavic with Cyrillic alphabet). Is Eurorevolution popular name for the protests in Ukraine right now? If it is, may be we have to add it together with the Euromaidan. Чао. Olsonspterom (talk) 00:52, 3 December 2013 (UTC)
