EIM

EIM seems to be to has changed its name it is now ecompany (see weblink). Could somebody check this and change the article? -Toshi 3 July 2005 18:52 (UTC)

--- 'ecompany' is the name for the merger of two of their operations, Emirates Internet and Multimedia and Comtrust. They've been using the name 'ecompany' as well as EIM and Comtrust until very recently. Branding confusion is common here, as many of the companies don't really understand marketing, especially a government-enforced monopoly such as Etisalat. That being said, it looks like they're only using the name 'ecompany' now on their website. They're in the middle of a new marketing push with new logos/campaigns/ads. Could have something to do with the new competing telco we may be getting? antivert 17 Jun 2006 00:04 (GMT+4)
