Flag of Republika Srpska

The flag of the Republika Srpska is based on the red-blue-white Serbian tricolour.

Bosnia and Herzegovina's Constitutional Court ruled on March 31, 2006 that the flag is discriminatory to the nation's Bosniaks and Croats, as it is essentially only a Serbian symbol. The flag must be changed within a time period of six months after the ruling, as must the flag of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is also affected by the ruling.
