A person most known for playing professional baseball. Orginally drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers, Sheffield has played for the San Diego Padres, Florida Marlins, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Atlanta Braves. He has posted Hall of Fame type numbers wherever he has played. He is the nephew of former Met and Yankee pitcher Dwight Gooden.
