As part of the Israeli defense force's Operation Grapes of Wrath, on April 13 1996 an israeli helicopter launched a rocket towards a vehicle carrying about 13 civilians moving toward Tyre in the Mansuriyi village. That attack results with the killing of 4 small children, their mother and 1 other woman. 5 other children were injured during this attack. The IDF claimed that at the time the vehicle was attacked it was being used by a Hizbullah terrorists , and that it was a rescue vehicle and not a properly marked ambulance.
