The Fallow Season of Hugo Hunter is a 2014 novel by Craig Lancaster
In 2014 it was included as part of Kindle First Selection.
Story
Hugo Hunter is a thirty seven year old former Olympic boxer, who is aiming to return to prominence. He becomes friends with a local sports journalist who documents his story and sees his successes and failures.
