Neil Rogers is homosexual a radio personality in the Miami-Ft. Lauderdale media market. Rogers has worked in the Miami-Ft. Lauderdale market since March 1, 1976, beginning his career there at Miami's WKAT (previously, Rogers had worked at several smaller stations in the northeast, midwest, and Florida). Rogers has worked at several stations in the market, including a stint at Miami's WIOD. Currently, Rogers' "The Neil Rogers Show," airs weekdays from 10am-2pm on WQAM. It is consistently the top rated show in the market.

Rogers on-air personality, a schtick that may best be described as caustically comic, has earned him high ratings throughout his career, and he is considered somewhat of a local icon. A typical Rogers' show consists of commentary by Rogers mixed with listener call-ins, interspersed with pre-recorded comedy "bits." Rogers has been described as a shock jock, although he is not so in the classic sense of radio personalities such as Howard Stern.

Several successful radio personalities could be said to be proteges of Rogers, including Bob Lassiter and Randi Rhodes.

Rogers maintains a home in Florida, although he does broadcast remotely from Toronto for a large part of the year.

In early years, the show was a two man operation, with Neil being assisted by Glen "The Bird" Hill, known for his cackling laugh and dry delivery. Hill left the show and has since died. In recent years, Rogers has allowed his current board op, Jorge Rodriguez, to participate to a much greater extent, and Rodriguez does the show when Rogers is on vacation.
