Dutch Low Saxon (Saksisch, Nedersaksisch) is a West Low Saxon (Low German is also known as Lox Saxon in Dutch) dialect group that is used in the northeastern Netherlands. By some observers it is considered a dialect of the Dutch language, and therefore Low Franconian group. Some forms of Dutch Low Saxon show features of Westphalian, a West Low German dialect spoken in Germany. It is comprised of the following forms:
