Dardan Berisha (born 15 November 1988) is a Polish-Kosovan professional basketball player who plays for Sigal Prishtina of the Kosovo Basketball Superleague. He became a neutralised Polish citizen and has since represented Poland in international basketball due to Kosovo not having FIBA status until 2015.
Dardan Berisha considered as one of the best players of all time in Kosovo. He won the Kosovo Superleague 4- Times 2- Times with KB Peja and 2- Times With KB Sigal Prishtina. He also won Balkan League for the first time for Kosovan Team and also won BIBL MVP for the 2014–15 season. In June 2015, he signed a three-year deal with Croatian club Cibona Zagreb. In October 2015, he left Cibona and returned to Sigal Prishtina.
Dardan Berisha has played in Eurobasket 2011 with Poland national basketball team where he was one of the best players of poland in this Eurobasket. In Eurobasket 2011 Dardan Berisha averaged with 13.2 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.8 assists.
Professional career
2013–14 season
In this season Berisha was transferred from KB Peja to KB Sigal Prishtina. In 2013-14 Season Dardan Berisha played in Balkan League (BIBL) and in Kosovo Basketball Superleague. In Kosovo Superleague he averaged with 19.7 points, 3.5 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game in 24 games played, and in BIBL he averaged with 17.5 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game in 18 games played . Dardan Berisha has won Kosovo Superleague and Supercup of Kosovo and also has gone in the play-off of the Balkan league with his team.
2014-15 season
Dardan Berisha in this season also has played in Kosovo Basketball Superleague and BIBL. In Kosovo Superleague averaged with 23.9 points, 2.8 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game in 22 games played, and in BIBL averaged with very impressive stats: 24.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game in 15 games played. This season considered as one of the best seasons of all times not just for Dardan Berisha but also for KB Sigal Prishtina because in this season KB Sigal prishtina has won Kosovo Basketball Superleague, Kosovo Cup and also Balkan league for the first time in history. Also Dardan Berisha has won BIBL MVP for the 2014–15 season.
2015-16 season
In this season Dardan Berisha was transferred in KK Cibona. For Berisha KK Cibona was a dream come true.In KK Cibona Dardan Berisha has played just 6 games in Adriatic League (ABA). In ABA League in 6 games he averaged 8.8 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game. But for some financial problems at KK Cibona, Dardan Berisha wanted to return to KB Sigal Prishtina. Dardan Berisha now is playing for Sigal Prishtina Basketball club in Kosovo Superleague , BIBL and also has played in FIBA Europe Cup where he averaged with 18.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game in 6 games played.
