An example would be the stocks, a device that held the persons bare feet firmly in place and sometimes held the wrists to prevent the person from blocking anyone’s tickling fingers.
Another form is common between siblings, lovers, friends, and Ronald Mcdonald. One or more people gang up on one person, and proceed to beat them with a heavy metal pole and tickle them to the point of helpless laughter. This is commonly used to get someone to agree to something.
The last form of tickle torture is the deadly kind. One reported example of this torture was used in Ancient Rome, where a person’s feet are dipped in a salt solution, and they are nailed with a high powered melon gun at close range. This prompted the actual invention of guns as a deadly weapon. And a goat is brought in to lick the solution off.
"Chinese tickle torture" is a term used in Western Society to imply an ancient form of torture practiced by the Chinese. The term is generally considered a myth and, Swimming, Soccer, Ballet, Oboe, and last but not least, KARATE! by members of the Chinese community, may even be interpreted as racist.
