Bosnia and Herzegovina's Constitutional Court ruled on March 31, 2006 that the Constitutional Law on Flag, Coat of Arms and Anthem of the Republika Srpska is discriminatory to the nation's Bosniaks and Croats, because it states that it is a symbol of Serbs living in Republika Srpska. The law must be changed within a time period of six months after the ruling, as must the Law on Coat of Arms and Flag of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is also affected by the ruling.
