Lordship of Connaught (1171-) (Containing the regions of: Connaught counties: Mayo, Galway, Sligo, Roscommon, Leitrim, Region: Munster counties: Clare, Limerick, Tipperary, Region: Leinster counties: Offaly, Westmeath, Longford, Region: Ulster counties: Cavan, Monaghan, Armagh, County Down, Antrim, Derry, Tyrone, Donegal, Fermanagh) The Lordship of Connaught was given to the de Burgh family by Henry II, King of England.
