Jimmy Carr is a British comedian who has hosted two game shows, Your Face or Mine? and Distraction. His performance is characterised by cutting remarks and the game show formats by humiliation and discomfort (physical and mental). Carr is a graduate of the University of Cambridge.

In 2003, he was listed in The Observer as one of the 50 funniest people in British comedy.

In 2004, it was announced he would host a US version of Distraction for Comedy Central.

He was a guest presenter for one episode of Have I Got News For You.
