Biography
Aaron is the son of Jeoffrey Benward and wife Candice. He has two siblings. In high school he left his mark as a National Merit Scholar and All-State Basketball player. After graduating he decided to pursue a college degree before getting involved in music on a professional level. He studied at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee.
In the early 1990s, he surprised his father Jeoffrey when he told him that he wanted to follow his steps in the music business. They went on to form a unique son/father duo called Aaron Jeoffrey that achieved much popularity in the CCM scene.
In the late 1990s, Aaron decided to continue with his individual career. When he was in the middle of the recording of his album, he suffered a car accident that almost killed him, his wife and children. He recovered surprisingly, and finally released his debut album titled Imagine, in 2000.
He still performs with his father occasionally.
Aaron is now part of the country music duo Blue County with Scott Reeves.
