They wore customized armour well suited to the climate extremes of ice planets like Hoth. In addition to the hard white armour, their suit incorporated fabric overgarments that helped contain heat and terrain gripping boots for slippery conditions. They brandished standard blaster rifles and specialized teams used heavy repeating blasters mounted on tripods.
