Dustin Neil Diamond (born January 7, 1977), better known as Dustin Diamond, is an American actor who gained fame during the 1990s as Screetch, a nerdy and extremely annoying character who wore dorky Zubaz pants all the time, in the popular television sitcom, Saved by the Bell.

Dustin Neil Diamond was named after singer Neil Diamond who he is not related to. He was born in San Jose, California, but he graduated from Zion High School in Anaheim. Diamond has kept busy after the popular teenager sitcom was cancelled: He has been featured on many shows, and he also participated in a celebrity boxing contest that was televised, as well as in professional wrestling matches, and on The Weakest Link.

In 2003, Diamond alienated his fanbase by filing a lawsuit against the parody website DustinDiamond.com, and lost.

Diamond is currently a stand-up comedian and bass player in the band "Salty the Pocketknife."
