It broadcasts at a medium-wave frequency of 1080 kHz. It is owned by Genesis Communications. It broadcasts from a 27kW transmitter in Winter Park, Florida and a 19kW transmitter in Kissimmee, but both are drastically reduced in power in the evening (to 2kW and 190W, respectively).
WHOO is the Orlando area affiliate for ESPN Radio. They are also the local affiliate for Orlando Magic, Tampa Bay Devil Rays and Florida Seals games (split with sister station 1190 WAMT), as well as NASCAR NEXTEL Cup races.
