In actuality it is much more important and influential than this. Their first two albums were almost entirley hardcore punk. The album 'blind' represented a move towards metal, leading to a new genre of punk/metal crossover, their albums got considerably heavier, cumulating in America's Volume Dealer which includes such Metal classics as 'Congratulations song' and 'Clean my wounds' as well as a blusier track in 'Stare too long.' Their lyrics were mostly political, with a definate left-wing bias. Some of their greatest political tracks are 'vote with a bullet', 'Technocracy', 'Mine are the eyes of god' and 'Shake like you'.
