Previously, Nevin played with the [[Houston Astros (1995), Detroit Tigers (1995-97) and Anaheim Angels (1998). He bats and throws right-handed.
In a ten-season career, Nevin is a .277 hitter with 174 home runs and 620 RBI in 986 games. He was selected an All-Star in 2001.
