He is a 2007 MBA candidate at University of Chicago GSB and is majoring in Analytic Finance and Economics. Vikram is a citizen of India and has green card status in the United States.
At Syracuse University, NY, Vikram received his Master of Science in Computer Science. He received his Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Ranchi, India. Rai is the author of the book, Technology M&A: A Guidebook. Before employment with Oracle Corporation, Vikram held engineering positions at Sun Microsystems and Tata Consultancy Services (formerly Tata Infotech).
Rai is the inventor of the Master Election Algorithm for Timer Synchronization Systems, which is currently awaiting a US Patent.
