Westfield Broward (previously known as the Broward Mall) is a mid-market shopping mall in Plantation, Florida. The center features 125 retail and service shops, three department stores (Dillard's, JCPenney, and Macy's), a movie theater, and a variety of casual dining venues with one vacant anchor once occupied by Sears. The mall was owned and managed by the Mills Corporation, also owner of the nearby Sawgrass Mills mall, from 2003 until Simon Property Group acquired The Mills in 2007. Simon which owns Town Center operated the mall for summer 2007, and in November 2007, Westfield officially acquired the mall and renamed it "Westfield Broward." Westfield completed a renovation in 2013, significantly alter the appearance of the food court, as well as the play areas and family lounge. More restaurants were added, and a 12-screen Regal Cinemas was built adjacent to the mall.
