From a more limited, ethnological point of view, Afghān is the term by which ethnic Pashtuns are designated by Persian-speakers. Additionally, the language of the Pashtuns is known as Pashto or Afghān language. Though no official sensus has ever been made, an estimated 60 to 65% of people in Afghanistan speak Afghani or in other words Pashto Language. Tajiks are the second largest group with making about 15% of the total population.
