John Lenders

John Lenders is the Minister for Finance, Major Projects, Workcover and the TAC in Victoria (Australia). He is also the leader of the Government in the Legislative Council. He is currently the Member for Waverly Provence.

Prior Positions

Lenders entered parliament after the 1999 election, and has held the position of Parliamentary Secretary for Treasury and Finance, Minister of Industrial Relations, Minister for Consumer Affairs. He had previously been the State Secretary and Campaign Director of the Victorian ALP from 1994, a position now held by Stephen Newnham.

Family

John is the son of dairy farmers from Gippsland, and is married with three children.
