Dean Michael Unglert (born April 17, 1991) is an American television personality, travel blogger and podcast host. Unglert received national recognition after appearing as a contestant on The Bachelorette Season 13, where he was eliminated in week 8. Unglert is known for his lifestyle living in a van and for co-hosting the podcast Help! I Suck at Dating with his fellow cast mate from The Bachelorette, Jared Haibon. Prior to his television career, Unglert has worked at StartupTAP, a recruiting consultancy, as its lead recruiter.
Unglert gain attention after appearing on the Bachelor in Paradise Season 4 where he juggled two relationships, with Danielle Lombard and Kristina Schulman. Unglert met his now girlfriend, Caelynn Miller-Keyes on Bachelor in Paradise Season 6.
Early life and education
Unglert was born in Venice, California to parents Harold "Chip" Unglert and Debbie Caroline Bell. Unglert's mother was diagnosed with breast cancer when Unglert was 9 years old. She relapsed when Unglert was 14 years old and passed away shortly after. Unglert was largely left alone from ages 15-18 with inconsistent presence of his father and the moving out of his siblings.
