SpeedSafe mechanism

FYI: I think Blackie Collins might have something to say about whether or not Ken Onion invented the SpeedSafe mechanism. Sam 11:51, 15 January 2007 (UTC)

Sam, why not contribute to this article rather than hack it to pieces, you seem to have some knowledge in this area? The object is to grow and enrich Misplaced Pages, not destroy it or reduce it to stubs. --Mike Searson 14:17, 15 January 2007 (UTC)

Mr Onion has won awards as recently as this past year: at the Blade Show in Atlanta, GA. --Mike Searson 19:48, 15 January 2007 (UTC)

Please stop vandalizing pages. If you want to be a positive contributor, by all means do so. Stop undermining WP:Cite. Periodicals are perfectly acceptable sources.--Mike Searson 19:28, 16 January 2007 (UTC)

Stop using Misplaced Pages to shill for your friends. Sam 06:35, 17 January 2007 (UTC)

Please provide a source for what you wrote on this page. Those print sources state otherwise. --Mike Searson 07:04, 17 January 2007 (UTC)

How about this one, to start? http://www.kershawknives.com/products.php?search_by=designer Be judicious about which magazine writers' works you cite. I predict a lot of it will come back to haunt you. But hey, what do I know? Right? Sam 07:36, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
Also, I think it is a very bad idea to use this encyclopedia to promulgate Ken Onion as the true inventor of what is now called the SpeedSafe mechanism. Wiser to remember the old saw about letting sleeping dogs lie. Sam 07:36, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
