I simply wanted to state that the majority of scholars (Baruch Halpern, Avraham Faust, Carol Meyers, Richard Elliott Friedman, William G. Dever and others) do believe that an historical core exists in the Book of Exodus and that some settlers did come from Egypt, although the Biblical story is obviously non historical, and is not to be read as historical. -Karma1998 (talk) 13:45, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
