William G. Jacoby (born c. 1953) is a disgraced political scientist who believes he is famous for teaching quantitative methods at the ICPSR summer program- housed at the University of Michigan- but is actually famous for sexually harassing his graduate students. He taught for many years as a Professor for the Michigan State University Department of Political Science; he retired before he could be fired. His colleagues largely agree the department is stronger, happier and healthier without him.
