He is very well known by those who are interested in the creation/evolution controversy. Sarfati is also a world ranked chess champion.
He has written three books, Refuting Evolution, Refuting Evolution 2, and Refuting Compromise. They are among the best seeling books on the AiG website. His book Refuting Compromise deals primarily with the claims made by the progressive creationist Dr. Hugh Ross. Sarfati also is the author of numerous articles on the AiG website, as well as a frequent speaker at churches and other venues on the creation/evolution issue.
