Revision as of 01:21, 5 February 2007 by Liradio (talk | contribs) (Considered to Be Deleted)(diff) ← Previous revision | Latest revision (diff) | Newer revision → (diff)The Information about Live365 seems more like spam to me then a detailed history of live365. Perhaps the person who wrote it should sit down and tell us The founding creators name, a little bit about his past and shareholders or other forms of history. When I read the information about live365 on Misplaced Pages, it almost seemed like a brochure of some kind. Please, What is the name or names of the people who started it. How did they create the company and how has it evolved. Thats what Misplaced Pages is all about.
And I'm not singling live365 out. I have come across other online services that have done the same thing. Just advertisments instead of a detailed history. I could have read this information of their own faq sheet. Im not sure where this post will go, but I created it for all to see. feedback if you like.
I just added some more about the history of Live365 and when Live365 began and what not. I was a user on Live365 since December 2000 and remember the good old days :-) - NetRadioGuy
live 365 and Ad-Aware
Does anyone know anything about why when I run Ad-Aware, live365.com shows up as a "Critical object" , showing live365 as spyware!
I had the same spyware experience. It looks like my wife picked up a tracking cookie from Live365 so I googled it and ended up here. It looks like they rely on advertising to some extent so I guess they could have placed the cookie except that my wife, who works from her own logon, is an internet novice and it is very unlikely that she knows anything about Live365 either. We both stick pretty much to known sites for shopping, don't open spams or e-mail from people we don't know. I sure would like to know the answer to this one.
Considered to Be Deleted
I am considering to delete this page since it can be viewed as an Advertisement. Second, an employees of Live365 has changed the neutral viewing of the article.
