- Education In the 1990s, according to the Daily Herald, Roskam supported three different state legislative plans to ban books from schools: one to ban the textbook series "impressions" from Arlington Heights schools... IMHO 'ban books' is POV. I'd like to change it to 'remove certain books'. Plus, the reader shouldn't have to go and research "Impressions" to find out what the objectionable content was.
