The Last Don is the solo debut album by Don Omar. It was released in 2003 and included collaborations from artists such as Daddy Yankee, Héctor & Tito and Trebol Clan, among others. The album sold 250,000 copies in 2005. The album sold over 350,000 units in South America, 330,000 in the US, and sold 411,000 units in Billboard, and was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). According to TheRichest website it sold over 4.5 million copies worldwide, earnings $4,700,000.
A re-release of the album, titled The Last Don: The Gold Series was released on December 19, 2006, through Machete Music. It includes two new songs: "Pobre Diabla" and "Ronca". one versión of the album The Last Don CD was released on 2007 in Japan. The album was top by Chart in Hungary.
The album was nominated Latin Pop Album of the Year, New Artist Billboard Latin Music Awards in 2003.
The abum Celebrates 18 years Anniversary in 2021.
