Pronunciation

Beefart says : For the benefit of the poor, benighted colonial types, can you please make it clear whether Bryn is pronounced BRIN or BRIAN? I suspect the former but it pays to consult the locals, who will have the pronunciation down to a tea... If you oblige, I'll teach you how to pronounce Vanrhynsdorp...Captainbeefart 14:05, 28 February 2006 (UTC)

The correct pronunciation is BRIN. Take it from a local! Freeloaded 21:28, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
Captain, I'm sure you mean 'down to a tee'. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 80.192.242.187 (talkcontribs) 18:34, 27 October 2006.

References

When removing citations that do not agree with ones point of view it is usual, at the very least, to provide a reference to support the alternative view. MRSCTalk 12:59, 8 February 2007 (UTC)

A reference ie. List of postal districts in the United Kingdom/R-Z WAS provided. But YOU and Gallo... seem to consider yourselves an authority to REMOVE IT ! 80.192.242.187 13:23, 8 February 2007 (UTC) JemmyH.

Bryn Gates

On google maps and elsewhere, I've seen this place referred to as Bryn Gates. What if any is the difference? Shouldn't this name be at least referenced in the article? \ Fnarf999 \ talk \ contribs \ 01:48, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

Edmund Arrowsmith

The article says his remains are buried at Bryn Hall but every reference I can find says his hand is at St. Oswald's Church. Could we get a reference here? This part of the article is very confusing. \ Fnarf999 \ talk \ contribs \ 01:51, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
