There are 12 languages spoken in chitral including Balti, Burushaski, Dameli, Doomaki, Dari, Dangariwar, Gawar-bati, Kalasha, Kalkoti, Kamviri, Kohistani, Khowar, Kygryz, Munji, Palula, Persian, Yidgha, Wakhi, Shina, Tajik, Torwali, Ushojo, Uzbek, Wakhi.
