A concern
- Original section title was: "Hey why do you believe in terrorist and narcissist prophet muhammad bin abdullah?"
Kutrya jhavnya tujhi aai laa jhavli kafirani Ravan Agnihotri (talk) 10:22, 19 January 2022 (UTC)
- EdJohnston and Bbb23, not sure if there is a link between Crashed greek and this user, but I got this abusive language on my talk page. Words in English are abusive as well as the words after that, which is in another language, where the word "Kutrya" means dog from Google translation search, whereas the second word "Jhavnya" is the F word, "tujhi" means you, "aai" means mother, "Jhavli" means F word as well. Whoever this person is, is abusing in a language called Marathi. It can't be a coincidence that after Crashed greek got blocked, I got this abusive message. MehmoodS (talk) 10:58, 19 January 2022 (UTC)
- Seems unlikely to me that the user, who has had an account since 2017 and almost never edited, is Crashed greek. Why they attacked you, though, I don't know. I've left a warning on their Talk page for the attack. BTW, although Google Translate detects the language as Marathi, it does not give me an English translation. Don't know why.--Bbb23 (talk) 11:48, 19 January 2022 (UTC)
- Bbb23 - I meant by link as maybe they know each other. The language is quite abusive. You can find the translation of the words on this link when I did the search on them . Also this user made the last edit on 22 February 2019 and now all of a sudden, he joins today to abuse me. Confusing.MehmoodS (talk) 11:56, 19 January 2022 (UTC)
- I reworded the section header above to get rid of the personal attack. EdJohnston (talk) 20:40, 20 January 2022 (UTC)

Battle of Dewair (1606)
I have restored referenced information concerning the battle of Dewair. An IP felt the need to change referenced information(ie. disruptive editing) in the article and change the result to a "Rajput victory". --Kansas Bear (talk) 18:07, 19 March 2022 (UTC)
- Good catch. Thank you.MehmoodS (talk) 18:46, 19 March 2022 (UTC)
Misplaced Pages and copyright
Hello MehmoodS! Your additions to Battle of Sadhaura have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Misplaced Pages:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Misplaced Pages, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.
- You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Misplaced Pages:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Misplaced Pages:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
- We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Misplaced Pages, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
- If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Misplaced Pages. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Misplaced Pages:Donating copyrighted materials.
- Also note that Misplaced Pages articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Misplaced Pages project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Misplaced Pages:Copying within Misplaced Pages. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 15:23, 26 March 2022 (UTC)
