This article may meet Misplaced Pages's criteria for speedy deletion because in its current form it serves only to promote or publicise an entity, person, product, or idea, and would require a fundamental rewrite in order to become encyclopedic. However, the mere fact that a company, organization, or product is a page's subject does not, on its own, qualify that page for deletion under this criterion. This criterion also does not apply where substantial encyclopedic content would remain after removing the promotional material as deletion is not cleanup; in this case please remove the promotional material yourself, or add the {{advert}} tag to alert others to do so. See CSD G11.%5B%5BWP%3ACSD%23G11%7CG11%5D%5D%3A+Unambiguous+%5B%5BWP%3ANOTADVERTISING%7Cadvertising%5D%5D+or+promotionG11

Swanand kirkire

Swanand Kirkire is well known lyricist-singer-writer. Born and brough up in Indore, he moved to Delhi after doing his graduation in commerce. Passed out of National School of Drama in 1996 and started doing theatre. Then went on to become a television serial writer, chief assistant director, dialogue writer, lyricist, singer and now he is doing it all.

His father Chintamani and mother Neelambari are classical singers. And it seems Swanand got the singing bit in his genes. He has no formal training in singing but even then he can sing like any other professional singer. The first tryst came with direction when Swanand wrote and directed a play on freedom fighter Bhagat Singh in New Delhi. During his theatre days, he learnt that Manju Singh, a television serial producer, was looking for a writer for his serial Swaraj, also on Bhagat Singh. The next thing he knew was that he was on a flight to Mumbai, and had a plush apartment in Warden Road. Swanand thought life would be a bed of roses. But when the serial ended, Swanand was thrown into a life of struggle. He had to give up his apartment and settle down in Goregaon, a Mumbai suburb.

A friend introduced him to filmmaker Pankaj Parashar, who in turn, introduced him to director Sudhir Mishra. Mishra was doing a serial called Talash, with his assistant Ruchi Narain. He started assisting Sudhir while he was making Calcutta Mail and then it continued with Chameli and Hazaron Khwaishen Aisi.

Swanand had written a song during his theatre days...bawra mann dekhne chala ek sapna and slowly it became popular in his friend circle. So much so, that everyone would request him to sing the song at every possible gathering. Sudhir Mishra heard the song and decided to use it in his film Hazaroon Khwashein Aisi. Music composer Shantanu Moitra decided to record it in Swanand's voice. Music was out and it became instant hit. Though the film's release got delayed but music was sold out. It became so popular that the music compnay had to re-release it again during the film's release. And a new singer-lyricist was born.

After Hazaroon Khwashein Aisi, Swanand continued his magic with words. His filmography includes
