The 2022 NXT In Your House is the upcoming 30th In Your House and third annual NXT In Your House professional wrestlingevent produced by WWE. It will be held exclusively for wrestlers from the promotion's NXTbrand division. The event will air on pay-per-view (PPV) worldwide and be available to stream through Peacock in the United States and the WWE Network internationally. It will take place on June 4, 2022, at a to be announced location.
Production
Background
In Your House was a series of monthly pay-per-view (PPV) shows that was held by WWE from May 1995 to February 1999. They aired when the promotion was not holding one of its then-five major PPVs (WrestleMania, King of the Ring, SummerSlam, Survivor Series, and Royal Rumble), and were sold at a lower cost. The branding was retired following February 1999's St. Valentine's Day Massacre: In Your House event, as the company moved to install permanent names for each of its monthly PPVs. After 21 years, In Your House was revived in June 2020 for WWE's NXTbrand as an NXT TakeOver event. It returned in 2021, thus becoming NXT's annual June event. The TakeOver series was discontinued in September 2021 after NXT was rebranded to NXT 2.0, reverting the brand to being WWE's developmental territory; however, In Your House continued on as NXT's annual June event, now branded as NXT In Your House, with the 2022 event scheduled for June 4 at a to be announced location.
Storylines
The card will include matches that resulted from scripted storylines, where wrestlers portrayed heroes, villains, or less distinguishable characters in scripted events that built tension and culminated in a wrestling match or series of matches. Results were predetermined by WWE's writers on the NXT brand, while storylines were produced on the weekly television program NXT 2.0 and the supplementary online streaming show Level Up.
