- Kathryn NicDhàna and Calgacus are lumping Irish Mythology and Scottish Mythology into one on the Celtic mythology template, see here. Also Calgacus wants Irish Mythology deleted to Gaelic Mythology. I think Scotland should have it's very own Mythology section. Readers will be very confused.Manopingo 00:06, 3 March 2007 (UTC)

- A user User:Sarah777 has sustained what I believe are a barrage of comments on my talk page that borderline WP:NPA . I will shortly make a statement on my future in wikipedia on my user page, but it is largely unconnected with this barrage of comments. Djegan 23:27, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
- Can someone look over the Charles Haughey article? There were fairly major edits by an anon editor today, including deletion of refs and adding other points . I'm not knowledgeable enough to make a call on it but it looks like some POV has crept in ("most able"??) - Alison 00:20, 12 February 2007 (UTC)

- Can I ask people to pay particular attention to "anon" or "newby" vandalism edits, particularily to the articles larger towns of Ireland. Their seams to be a real effort to litter articles with utter nonsense, particularily Dundalk, Limerick, and Sligo. Djegan 00:55, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
- You might have seen my on some of the pages, I have been reverting a lot of it but will keep an extra eye out over the next few days.--Vintagekits 16:25, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
- As the Talk:British Isles rolls on, I see that, a few days ago, a new info-box : "History of Christianity in the British Isles" appeared. Is this to give the term some relevance? see ClemMcGann 00:56, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
- The history is somewhat different: the article History of Christianity in the British isles was moved to Template:History of British Christianity. It had existed for nearly a year in mainspace, quite undisturbed. So too had Christianity in the British isles 410-1066, but that was moved to Anglo-Saxon Christianity, reflecting the content that had been completed, and Early Insular Christianity created to replace it. It's not all bad news. Angus McLellan (Talk) 01:28, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

A chairde,
There really are a depressingly small number of contributors to the wikipedia project in Irish with probably a maximum of 50 or so edits a day, often by the same users. It would be wonderful if you who know so much about Irish affairs and have such interest would (if you speak Irish, of course) help translate articles and create new ones. We have far too many stumpaí, in fact almost half of all articles. A bit of enthusiasm from a few new contributors could really help the project.
I'm sitting my Leaving Certificate now and have found writing for ga.wiki really helped my standard of Irish, I also learned a lot from reading other pages. Your Irish doesn't need to be good to contribute - even if it's only adding categories or interwikis. If you can't remember a word, I recommend EnglishIrishDictionary.com for cross-referencing. Go n-éirí libh, and keep up the good work.
