DataEase is a marginal player in the Windows desktop relational database market place. It is known for a reasonably successful DOS RDMS in the late 80's and early 90's but the company behind this, Sapphire International, were unable to successfully make the transition to a Windows replacement. Surprisingly both users and developers remained loyal to the product which was a testament to its power and ease of use.
These can be shared with other users over a network, Web published for remote access, or used to manage your own personal data. DataEase caters for both first-time database users and professional application developers alike.
Originally known as DataMaster, DataEase was one of the first relational database packages developed for MS-DOS. Created by software developers Arun Gupta and Joseph Busch, it was first released in 1981.
Now in version 7 (for Windows) DataEase is used by thousands of users worldwide to create database applications.
