Clare Dalton is a former legal academic at Harvard College and Northeastern University.
Dalton is notable for bringing a law suit against Harvard Law School alleging sexual discrimination in 1987 over the denial of her tenure.
After the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination ruled that she had probable cause in 1992, Harvard Law School settled the case by paying $260,000 to sponsor a new domestic violence institute at Northeastern University.
