Martina Anderson, MLA is a nationalist politician in Northern Ireland. She was elected in 2007 to the Northern Ireland Assembly as a Sinn Fein member for Foyle BBC NI 2007 Assemby election report for Foyle

A native of West Belfast from a republican family, and a former local beauty queen, she was a Provisional Irish Republican Army member (volunteer) and was imprisoned for 13 years for offences including causing explosions, possession of firearms as well as her role in the 1986 attempted assassination of the leadership of the Conservative Party in the Brighton bombing. She was released under the Good Friday Agreement. At Anderson's trial at the Old Bailey, the judge told her: "You are a hard, cynical young woman" ().
